Amigo Loro

Amigo Loro

Loro means parrot in Spanish and this is precisely the mascot of the University of Colima. Amigo Loro is a program which intends to help visiting national and foreign students in their immersion process into the culture of Mexico, the state of Colima, and the University of Colima.

What does an Amigo Loro do?

A Loro Friend:
  • Gives advice on the services offered by University of Colima.
  • Shows you around the university campus.
  • Integrates you into his/her group of friends.
  • Immerses you into the Mexican culture.
  • Gives you orientation around the city.
If you are a foreign or exchange student in the University of Colima, you only need to fill out a form and send it to fsilva4@ucol.mx at least two weeks prior to your arrival.
