Cristóbal Aburto participated as leader of the Judo delegation in the first Pan American Games, in Brazil.

 

The coach of the University of Colima, Cristóbal Aburto Tinoco, participated as head of the mexican Judo delegation, in the first University Pan American Games of the International Federation of University Sports (FISU) that took place a few days ago in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Aburto Tinoco was summoned to the Pan-American University Games of the FISU due to his good results of participation in national student sports jousting with the University of Colima and the ISENCO.

In this sense, the coach said that it was possible to bring to Mexico 10 medals in the individual and two more in teams, in the feminine and manly branches; He also said that he will put into practice the experience acquired in this event to improve the quality of work of his students at the University of Colima.

Cristóbal Aburto stressed that, to attend this event, the International University Sports Federation sent a statement to the University of Colima to inform of his participation as coach of the representative selection of our country.

In this regard, Cristóbal Aburto thanked the rector José Eduardo Hernández Nava for the support received to be present at the Pan-American, and said that although the fair was held during the vacation period of this House of Studies, he was given the necessary to be a good representative from Mexico.

Finally, he added that he will keep working, because this participation is part of the achievements of his career as a competitor and as a coach, in addition to the achievements made with the UdeC athletes, ISENCO and the Colima teams.
