To take the oath under protest before the University Council.
To comply and enforce the compliance of the Organic Law and other regulations approved by the University Council; as well as the legal systems enacting the competent authority regarding education.
To preserve the university autonomy, respecting it and ensuring the respect with the moral and historical resources, as well as the legal remedies available.
To ensure the preservation of an order of freedom and responsibility in practice, in order for the institution to fulfill the essential purposes entrusted to him by the society.
To present, on an annual basis, the projects of revenue and expenditure budgets to the University Council, for the corresponding approval.
To report to the University Council, on an annual basis, the state of the University; and to present the work program for the following year.
